(This must have been the attack on HG-53 and SLS-64 on Feb. 9 and 12, 1941. HG-53 was attacked by a combined effort of U-37 and Fw-200's of 2./KG40. The final toll was 8 out of 22 sunk. Seven British and one Norwegian ship. Admiral Hipper attacked SLS-64 sank another 7 ships on the 12th, (Admiral Hipper accounted for 1 ship from HG-53.) German aircraft sank one on the 12th which was not in HG-53, and U-52 sank one on the 10th from OG-52.) |
