Note the report in column 8: "Big Sinking Claim by Nazis"
(The Germans claimed to have sunk 14 merchant ships that were in convoy over the course of six days. They also claim sinking one of the escorting destroyers. They had sunk four merchant ships from convoy HG-75 and three from other convoys. They also did sink a destroyer, the famous HMS Cossack. Cossack, under the command of Captain Philip Vian, R.N., had rescued almost 300 British and Commonwealth prisoners, all of whom had been captured from ships sunk by the German cruiser Admiral Graf Spee. One hundred and fifty-nine men went down with Cossack.)

Note the report in column 4: "Lord Beaverbrook May Resign Because of Ill-Health"
(Reports of Lord Beaverbrook leaving due to health concerns were incorrect. Lord Beaverbrook did not leave his post as Minister of Supply until Feb. 4, 1942, when he became Minister of War Production. He left that post on Feb. 19, 1942 and remained out of office until Sept. 24, 1943 when he became Lord Keeper of the Privy Seal, a post he held until July 27, 1945, at which time he left government service permanently. He died on June 9, 1964.)
Also note the headline report at top left: " Soak The Rich Budget Presented By Federal Treasurer"
(I highlight this only to demonstrate how the one trick pony of "soak the rich" or "tax the rich" or "make the rich pay their fair share," has been the policy used by labour, or in the USA, the democrat party, for decades. It NEVER changes. For Americans, think back to EVERY democrat campaign, especially the last one, when the current president continuously beat the drum of "make the rich finally pay their fair share." A figure he, nor any other democrat ever defines. Or think back to Sept. of 2021 when the extremely silly and stupid democrat congressperson Ocasio-Cortez wore a dress that said, in big red letters, "tax the rich" to a $30,000 per plate dinner in New York City. You can't get any more out of touch than that.)

October 30, 1941: Front page of The Sydney Sun, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Note the report in columns 5-6: "Nine More Czechs Die"
(The sub-headline states that they were shot "as if" in celebration of the visit of Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler to Prague. No further details about this execution are given in the report. However, the report does state that the Germans shot over 1,000 Jews at Lomza, Poland. It's stated that they were forced into a trench and machine-gunned to death. It further states that several hundred Jews were executed in Rzeslow, Poland as well.)
