Note the report at top right: "After Nantes - 50 to Die at Bordeaux, More Threatened"
(Otto von Stülpnagel, military commander of occupied France, orders the execution of another 50 hostages for the killing of one Nazi. Does this sound familiar? How about every time one person misuses a gun in the U.S.A. the government wants to punish every other law-abiding citizen by taking their guns away. It's not just guns, just think how many times the whole country is punished for something a criminal has done. It happens all the time, all you have to do is think about it.)
Also note the headline report: "Timoshenko Is Re-Forming Russian Armies"
(After all the reports yesterday that claimed Timoshenko had been sacked, it is now learned that he is still in command of a Russian army. Stalin had split the large area which was under attack into two theaters, north and south. Timoshenko was placed in charge of the southern region, while famed Russian general, Georgy Zhukov, was handed the northern sector.)
