Note the report in columns 2-3: "Evacuation Of Benghazi - Setback, But Nothing Tragic"
(The British evacuation of Benghazi was only the first of the headlines being made by the man who would become known as The Desert Fox, Erwin Rommel.)
Also note the report in columns 1-2: "After Nazi Battle Cruisers"
(The R.A.F. attack Brest, France in an attempt to damage Scharnhorst and Gneisenau. The Germans admitted the attack occurred, but stated that no military damage was caused. I don't know how much damage, if any, was done to the facilities, but the battleships were not hit.)

Note the report at top left: "We Sink Two More Italian Destroyers"
(The report is not exactly correct. No Italian destroyer was sunk on Wednesday Apr. 2, but the R.A.F. sank two destroyers, Nazario Sauro and Daniele Manin, and damaged two others badly enough to put them out of the war, Cesare Battisti (Scuttled due to damage) and the torpedo boat Giovanni Acerbi (severely damaged and hulked.) Two other destroyers, Tigre and Pantera were scuttled by the Italians off Someina to avoid being caught by British warships.)
Also note the report in column 3: "Why Haw-Haw Confessed"
