(This report was true. The Schnellboot S-38 was sunk by HMS Campbell.)
 
Also note the report in column 8: "New German Battleships in Service"
(The report claims that Bismarck and Tirpitz were both in service. Bismarck had been commissioned Aug. 24, 1940 and was in the Baltic Sea on working up trials. Tirpitz was still fitting out and would not be commissioned until Feb. 25, 1941.)

(This ship had been part of convoy HX-84, which was attacked by the German cruiser Admiral Scheer. The ship was repaired, but on St. Patrick's Day 1942, U-404 would send it to the bottom.)
Also note the report in column 7: "H.M. Submarine Overdue"
(HMS Rainbow was lost with the entire crew. The reason for the loss is still not known, but there are at least two theories.)
