Note the report at top right: "155-Mile Range Of Nazi Gun"
(This report is probably about the Schwerer Gustav (Gustav Gun) which was the largest caliber rifled gun ever fired in combat. The range however was only about 30 miles. The gun was not completed until late 1941 and did not see action until June 1942. When it was finally put into service England had nothing to fear, it was only used against Russian targets.)
[See "Big Gun Just Propaganda" in the Daily Telegraph of July 30, 1940.]

Note the report in column 4: "Vatican Denies Nazi Protest"
(An unnamed "source" at the Vatican stating that radio broadcasts denouncing Nazi treatment of Poles made from the Vatican radio station "have a private character and in no way represent the authority of the Holy See." So does this suggest to the reader that the Vatican approves of the mistreatment of the Poles, or is just pro-Nazi? If you don't stand up to evil...)
