October 2, 1915 SMS U-35 was patrolling northwest of Crete when the SS Sailor Prince was intercepted on a voyage from Cyprus to Scotland. The ship was shelled and stopped and later scuttled, two crewmen lost their lives, but the remaining crewmen survived. |
