Daily Event for February 4

Feb. 4, 1980 the fishing vessel Pacific Trader capsized and sank in the Bering Sea, north of Unimak Island,
Alaska. She was built in 1943 as the U.S. Army tug Major. Ralph Bogle in Oyster Bay, New York. Having served
her purpose she was sold into commercial service. Renamed Pacific Titan and later Pacific Trader. The only
other details I have are the names of three fishermen men lost in the ship.
