Ship's History

Used on the "American" route. Voyages began at Hong Kong. Stops in Shanghai, China,
Kobe / Moji, Japan, Yokohama, Japan, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada and ended at
Seattle, Washington. No stop was made at Victoria on the return voyage.
Oct. 15, 1901:
Collided with SS Elba in Seattle harbor. Only minor damage done to each ship.
   
1901-1934:
No details of career are available, but it appears that the ship was used on the
"American" route for most of not all of its career.
   
Apr. 11, 1934:
Arrived at Yokohama, Japan for scrapping.
