I just finished watching the movie Lone Survivor and feel compelled to write to this website. I have read the book about Michael Murphy's life and I just finished reading Lone Survivor prior to watching the movie. The level of detail provided in the books regarding the team and the training was excellent and really framed the story portrayed in the movie.

Anyone who takes the time to understand what sacrifices are made and the level of training Special Operators experience prior to being deployed might begin to understand what these men are about. I am not pretending to know anymore than what I have read and seen but I continue to be proud to be an American, continue to be thankful for the service of these brave warriors and all military personnel at every level. The other important point is the sacrifice that families make. I am happy that Michael and the others were properly honored.
