2. Apr. 21, 2024 Do you have a list of the men that survived? I'm sure my dad was on that ship. He was a sonar man named Willard Carl Nystrom. Dad died when I was 1.5 years old. Colon cancer. I have a small New Testament that he kept in his pocket. It's all water stained. My mom told me how he floated until they fished him out of the water. Thanks, Mike Nystrom |

1. May 29, 2023 Concerning Lt. JG Ralph H. Vick. I am one of twin nieces born to Ralph's younger sister three days after the USS Little went down. My grandmother put Ralph's name on a marker next to her husband's grave, and she is buried elsewhere in the Old Tacoma WA Cemetery. My twin tried to get a flag for Ralph's grave and was told she needed a number--of the death certificate to get the medallion to go on the tombstone. He was lost at sea. Anne was working on this when COVID hit and no one answered their phone. Do you have any idea how we can get a number for Ralph? We are the family historians, and I have pictures and bio information that I would love to share for the website. Just an interesting note, my niece is playing one of his violins, and my youngest granddaughter just played the other one at her high school graduation in St. Louis. Janet Bryant |
