My dad's younger brother, Anthony Weber Watetender 2nd Class, was lost on that fateful day in Aug 1943. Although I had never met my Uncle Tony, my dad has told me stories of their growing up in the 1930's in South Milwaukee, WI. In 1958 I joined the USN and spent my 4 year enlistment in the Submarine Service.
