I am busy researching various submarines exploits during WW II, for a book that I am busy writing. This book is about the various ships/subs that visited the Selborne Dry Dock here in Simon's Town and painted their ships/subs badge on the dock wall. There are some 142 badges, at the last count, and it is believed that this is unique in the world.

We are busy repainting these badges to their former glory, and the book should be ready to be launched in November 2010 in time for the 100th anniversary of the dock. Any help and information that you may be able to offer will be gratefully accepted. Full acknowledgement will be given in the publication. The vessels are: HMS Ambush; Aeneas; Finwhale; Anchorite.
