1. The last picture of HMS Jamaica was taken out in the Med. I was on this commission, the pennant number was painted on in Grand Harbour, Malta, on February 18, 1957. At this time we were flying the flag (F.O.2). The photo shows the Jamaica getting ready to go to anchor, with the cable party on the forecastle. I was an Ordinary Seaman at this time. |
