Location: Java Sea 90 miles north of Bawean Island, Indonesia. (04.25S - 112.32E) 54 crewmen killed, 651 picked up by Japanese ships and remained POW's for the remainder of the war, many of them died in Japanese POW camps. (Roll of Honour) |
