Firstly, thank you for the informative website regarding the HMS Indomitable, very helpful with my Family History research. Secondly, I am emailing on the slim chance that someone may have some information, in particular some photo's, of my Great Grandfather's Brother Percy Samuel Dehaney who I believe served on board as I have a photo of him in uniform. Any information on him would be great. I have attached a photo of him along with his Dad David.

Many thanks,
Matthew Thompson

Does anyone have any information on a Frederick John Hill? He was a stoker on the H.M.S. Indomitable and was still attached to the ship in 1919 when he married Florence Cox. They were my grandparents.

Thank you,
Susan

Just found your site, seeing the ship took my breath away. I have my great uncle's pocket watch in front of me. There's a paper inside that says;
Carl Miller AB
Mess 26
HMS Indomitable
May 26th 08

And it gives his "private address" as 12 Crown Street, Lowestoft, Suffolk. About the only other thing I know about him is that he emigrated to South Africa in the early 1950s. Is this of any interest to anyone?

Best wishes,
Jon Miller
