5. Jan. 1, 2018 I have on occasion viewed your website and am very impressed with the content and organisation. If possible I am asking for the help of members regarding an incident between 1930 and 1932 on board HMS Royal Sovereign where several men were hospitalised because of an accident with a gun. One of the men may be my late father, Archie Shand. Any information that may be forthcoming would be gratefully received. Thank you, Alexander Shand |
4. July 3, 2011 My uncle Frank Davies served on this ship approx 1939 to 1941, served in the Atlantic until transferring to submarines. Is there any record to confirm or indicate service, duties etc as I have no idea of his rank. Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thanks, Peter Wightman Morro Bay, California |
3. May 5, 2009 My Father A/B Don Bouwer RNVR (South Africa) served on the Royal Sovereign from 1939-1941 as Gun layer for the 4" port watch. Derek Bouwer Australia |
2. Jan. 20, 2009 My father Peter (RH) West served on board HMS Royal Sovereign between October 1939 & December 1942, I wonder if anyone out there might have known him? Thank you, Sue Butler |
1. Feb. 13, 2007 My Father was on the HMS Royal Sovereign as a young signalman. He was on the trip to Russia for the handover to the Russian Navy. His name is Ronald Philip Chapman, would there be any crew records showing this. Regards, Steve Chapman |
