(Codeword) Letter Q. Queen- 1. Former Codeword for the Letter Q. 2. (Nickname) USS New Mexico BB-40. A New Mexico Class Battleship. Queen of the Jeeps- (Nickname) USS Enterprise CV-6, a Yorktown Class Aircraft Carrier. Towards the end of World War II, she became the smallest of the large fleet carriers. Queen of the Seas- 1. (Nickname) USS Saratoga CV-3, a Lexington Class Aircraft Carrier. 2. (Nickname) USS Salt Lake City CA-25, a Pensacola Class Cruiser. Queer- (Nickname) Grumman EA-6 Prowler. Named so, due to the VAQ squadron designations. Queer Whale- (Nickname) Douglas A3D-1Q/A3D-2Q (later EA-3) Skywarrior. Quiet Professionals- 1. (Squadron Nickname) 193rd Special Operations Squadron, that operates the EC-130 Hercules, for the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. 2. (Squadron Nickname) 773rd Airlift Squadron, who flies the C-130 Hercules.
