The Sutherland Memorial, located adjacent to the local government Sutherland Council chambers in Eton Street. The memorial was dedicated in 1921 to commemorate those from the Sutherland Shire of southern Sydney who served during WW1. It was relocated to the present position in 1992 and now commemorates those who served in all conflicts. Adjacent to this memorial is the Memorial Wall, also dedicated to the memory of those of all Services and all conflicts. This also has the emblems of the Royal Australian Navy, the Australian Commonwealth Military Forces (army), the Royal Australian Air Force, and the Merchant Navy.
