R.A.A.F. Rathmines Memorial
Lake Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia

R.A.A.F. Rathmines Memorial is dedicated to those who served in the Flying Boats and Seaplanes out of the base. R.A.A.F. Rathmines was the main base for these type of aircraft during the Second World War and into the 1950's, from here aircraft conducted anti-submarine and mine laying missions along with the overall training of seaplane pilots. The base closed in the 1950's, today the Flying Boat Museum is located there.
