Port Macquarie Shipwreck Memorial
Port Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia

A small memorial to those who perished during shipwrecks along the coast in and around the Hastings River at Port Macquarie, about 400km north of Sydney. This lists the 16 ships wrecked between 1877 and 1943. The memorial is situated overlooking the Hastings River and entrance to Port Macquarie.

The plaque showing the names and locations of the wrecks in the area.

Overview of the memorial, the Mid North Coast Maritime Museum, that currently occupies the old Pilots building, is seen in the background.
