Ordinary Seacat Trim, R.N., the cat belonging to Captain Matthew Flinders, RN who played a major roll in charting the coastline of Australia during the latter years of the 18th century and early part of the 19th century. This memorial is located behind the statue of Flinders adjacent to the Mitchell Wing of the State Library of NSW in Macquarie Street, Sydney.
