The Goulburn War Memorial, located atop rocky hill and overlooking the rural town of Goulburn in NSW, Australia. This memorial was constructed during 1924 and officially opened in 1925 to commemorate those who served and those who paid the supreme sacrifice during the Great War of 1914 - 1918. Their names are inscribed on a Honour Roll just inside the memorial entrance. Within the memorial, opposite the Honour Roll, steps lead up the 19.5 meter high tower to a look out that has extensive views over the town of Goulburn and surrounding areas. |
