A plaque that commemorates the First Fleet of European Settlers (both convict and free) to land in Australia. They came, on voyages of considerable endurance for the late 18th century, to the other side of a largely unknown world. It is found on steps leading from George Street to the First Fleet Park, Sydney, Australia.
