Archibald Fountain
Sydney, Australia

Archibald Fountain located centrally within the northern end of Hyde Park in Sydney. This impressive fountain commemorates the association forged between Australia and France during World War 1, the Great War of 1914-1918, where many Australian soldiers lost their lives on battle fields of France. The bronze figures are based on mythological characters with good triumphing over evil.
