2. July 25, 2010 Someone told me about the Wilhelm Gustloff and it sounds like the boat my grandparents were on. Not sure how this would tie in because they were leaving Estonia and were supposed to meet my dad in Germany. Dad actually got word from one of the "handful of survivors" that knew his parents and said they did not survive. Their names were Juhan and Heljo Kaarma from Tallinn Estonia (not sure if the first name spellings are exact). I have googled myself dizzy trying to find a passenger list but to no avail. Do you have any advice on how to go about this? I would be grateful for any information you could provide. Kind Regards, Linda Kaarma |
