French Line advertisement featuring the France.

 

A French "War Loan" poster from 1917 featuring the France IV in the port of Algiers, Algeria. The purpose was to get the people of French North Africa to loan money (subscribe) for a quick victory and return of the troop. (Pour le retour, souscrivez). This was the 4th poster produced since 1914.
