Gem of Safaga (1982)

December 21, 2009: Gem of Safaga seen sailing through Sydney Harbour from Point Piper buoy to Glebe Island.  She had been "under arrest" due to a dispute between her owners and the charterers and moored at Point Piper in Sydney Harbour for several weeks before moving to Glebe Island. 

Gem of Safaga was built in 1982 as Shannon Venture and has operated under several names including Deerpool, Deborah L., Alpha Flame, Delphic Flame and Konkar Lydia.
