December 16, 1939: Front page of The Winnipeg Tribune, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
(Click on the image for a readable version.)

Note the report in column 8: "Cruel Fate Of Jews Described"
(This report is significant because it shows that as early as 1939 everyone knew what was going to happen to the Jewish population. In this report the terms "extermination" and "mass massacre" are used and it is admitted that thousands of Jews were already known to have been killed. When you hear that we did not know, you can tell that someone who is either uninformed or just lying is making that statement.)

December 16, 1939: Front page of Het Volksdagblad, Amsterdam, Netherlands. (Dutch communist paper.)
(Click on the image for a readable version.)

December 16, 1939: Front page of The Bakersfield Californian, Bakersfield, California.
(Click on the image for a readable version.)

Note the headline: "Death Fleet Awaits Spee"
(The U.S. papers doing their part to spread the British propaganda.)
Also note the sub-headline: Winnie Names Murder Aide"
(The story of Winnie Ruth Judd has caught my interest while researching these old newspapers.)
[More on Winnie Ruth Judd here.] (Wikipedia)
Also note the report in column 2: "Russ Propagandist Held on Conspiracy"
(Another report about communist activities in the U.S.A.)
Also note the report in column 7: "Mt. Vesuvius Pours Two Lava Streams"

December 16, 1939: Front page of The Cumberland News, Cumberland, Maryland
(Click on the image for a readable version.)

Note the report and photo: "Nazi Liner Braves Atlantic Blockade"
(Another German ship whose fate was watched in the press worldwide.)
Also note the report in column 2: "Poles Taught To Obey Germans or suffer Penalties"
(In the body of the report is the line "One of the first orders issued whenever German troops entered a Polish town or village was that all arms must be surrendered. As outlined in the report, the penalty for disobeying this order was death. The Germans were not offering a "gun buy-back" like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris want to do, they were confiscating guns. An unarmed population cannot fight back against tyranny. One other comment, you cannot "buy-back" guns that you never owned, and a "mandatory" buy-back is just an order to confiscate guns.)

December 16, 1939: Front page of The Lima News, Lima, Ohio.
(Click on the image for a readable version.)

Note the headline: "Subs Guard Graf Spee"
(German propaganda intended to intimidate the British. In fact there was not a German submarine within thousands of miles. A fact the British probably already knew.)

(Click on the image for a readable version.)

Note the report in column 5: "Dancer Dies After Fall From Hotel"
