(Fritz Kuhn was the leader of the German-American Bund and a supporter of Adolf Hitler. Kuhn was found guilty of embezzlement and sent to prison. He was released in June of 1943, but arrested again by the Federal Government as an enemy agent and spent the rest of the war in a detention camp in Texas. He was deported in 1945, but was arrested by the German government in 1947 and sent to prison where he remained until just before his death in 1951.) |
