Day 974

May 1, 1942: Front page of the News and Chronicle, London, England.

Note the report in columns 6-7: "Aeroplane Driven by Steam"
(An idea as stupid as the steam powered submarine, the British K Class being proof of that. Those submarines were far more dangerous to their crews than they were to the enemy. The modern-day version of this lunacy is battery powered aircraft, an insane idea which is being pushed by many far-left politicians.)

May 1, 1942: Front page of The Daily Mail, Hull, England.

Note the report in column 2: "18 Norwegians Shot"
Also note the report in column 6: "Appalling Hun Atrocities"
(The report from radio Moscow could actually be true. It is known that the Germans committed horrendous atrocities against the Russian people, the actions described by Russian Foreign Minister Vyacheslav Molotov in this report may very well have happened.)

May 1, 1942: Front page of The Examiner, Launceston, Tasmania, Australia.

May 1, 1942: Front page of The Sydney Sun, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

(Click on the image for a readable version.)

Note the report in column 5: "Nazi Battleship Reported Sunk"
(The report from radio Moscow was, as usual, false. They also claimed that Russian forces had sunk 447 German ships in the course of the war, which was absurd. This is the nature of propaganda, just make up a big story that nobody can confirm or deny and it becomes the truth.)

May 1, 1942: Front page of the Biddeford Daily Journal, Biddeford, Maine.
(Click on the image for a readable version.)

May 1, 1942: Front page of The Evening Star, Washington, D.C.
(Click on the image for a readable version.)

Note the report in column4: "Plan to Register Women for War Is Abandoned"
(Eighty-one years later, they are still having the same argument. Do you get the idea that the most unserious people in the country get elected to political office?)

May 1, 1942: Front page of The Evening Gazette, Xenia, Ohio.
(Click on the image for a readable version.)

Note the report in column 1: "Sugar Zones Set Up Here"

(Click on the image for a readable version.)

Note the report at bottom left: "111-Year-Old Aunt Lizzie Considers Taking Tenth Husband - A Young Man of About 80"
(A story just for a bit of relief from the normal news. We need more of this today.)

May 1, 1942: Front page of the Tucson Daily Citizen, Tucson, Arizona.
(Click on the image for a readable version.)

May 1, 1942: Front page of The Bakersfield Californian, Bakersfield, California.
(Click on the image for a readable version.)

Note the report in columns 1-2: "Rattlesnake Killer Dies on Gallows"
(Proof positive that incarceration and the death penalty works. Consider, since he was sent to prison and executed, he did not kill a single person, nor committed another crime against an innocent citizen. Now, if they would just learn from this, the country would be a much better and safer place. Of course, the left-wing degenerate democrats running the cities KNOW this already. So, one must wonder, why do they stand with criminals and AGAINST the public? You will have to sort that out for yourself.)

(Click on the image for a readable version.)

(New poison from Churchill's kitchen of lies - English fairy tales about Italy - Jewish writer provided the material.)

(Click on the image for a readable version.)
