January 1, 1942: Front page of Der Stürmer.
(Click on the image for a readable version.)

(Der Stürmer was a anti-Semitic publication edited and produced by Julius Streicher, one of the earliest members of the Nazi party and a rabid anti-Semite. His publication, believe it or not, was even too over the top for Adolf Hitler! But Hitler allowed him to publish it until the end of the war. This page is one of the least vile pages ever published for this rag. The front page of every edition had the same sentence at the bottom; "Die Juden sind unser Unglück!" The Jews are our misfortune. On page two this sentence usual appeared; "Die Juden sind schuld am Krieg!" The Jews are the cause of the war. Just a small taste of the hate in this publication.)

1. Der Endkampf.
(The final battle.)
2. Klare Fronten.
(Clear fronts.)
3. Aus dem Inhalt.
(Contents.)
[Notice that at least four of the articles inside are anti-Jewish, and the disgusting cartoons published in every edition are not fit to publish on this website.]

January 1, 1942: Front page of the Völkischer Beobachter, the official newspaper of the NSDAP.
(Click on the image for a readable version.)
1. Neujahesaufruf des Führers an Front und Heimat.
(The Führer calls the front from home.)
2. Auch das letzte Opfer für den Endsieg!
(Also the last sacrifice for the final victory!)
3. Die Parole der Wehrmacht: 1942 - Kampf bis zum Niederbruch des Feinds.
(The slogan of the Wehrmacht: 1942 - fight until the enemy collapses.)
4. Einheitsfront vom Kanal bis Ostasien.
(United Front from the Channel to East Asia.)
