Historical note: On this day The Germans established a concentration camp/ghetto named Theresienstadt at Terezin in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. This was used by the Germans as the "model camp." Members of the International Red Cross and other organizations were brought there and shown just how well Jews were treated by the Germans. In reality, it was a transit camp, nothing more than a brief stop on the road to the gas chambers.

(I hope the irony of California trying to keep Americans out of their state is not lost on anyone. Only 81 years later, California does all it can to encourage foreign nationals to enter the state illegally. And then providing a great deal of financial support to them at the expense of American citizens.)
