Note the report in column 4: "Captors of U-Boat Crew Get D.S.C."
(Two officers of HM Trawler Lady Shirley, Lt. Ian P Boucaut, RANVR and Sub-Lt. Frederick E French, RNVR, which sank U-111 on Oct. 4, 1941, were awarded the D.S.C. The commanding officer, Lt. Cdr. Arthur H. Calloway, had already been awarded the D.S.O. Another man, Cpl. H. J. Fittall, Corps of Royal Engineers, was Mentioned in Despatches. HM Trawler Lady Shirley was sunk by U-374 on Dec. 11, 1941, Calloway, Boucaut and French along with the rest crew was lost.)

(Second Mate, Horace R. Ayres, the only survivor from the Gairsoppa, which was sunk by U-101 on Feb. 16, 1941 awarded the M.B.E. He was also awarded Lloyd's War Medal for Bravery at Sea, which is not mentioned in the report. The ship was carrying a cargo which included £600,000 of silver ingots. The wreck found by Odyssey Marine in 2011 and the silver was salvaged.)

(65-year-old, Armenian emigrant, Garabed Ermoyan, is about to give $50 to the U.S. treasury to help in the war effort. He was quoted as saying; "I am too old to bear arms for this country, but I feel that by giving this money to the government I will be taking part, in some small measure, in defense. I did not buy government bonds because I want noting back from this country. Just to be here and enjoy its benefits and liberties is enough." How many of the 5 million illegal immigrants, which have flooded this country since Biden became president, do you think feel this way?)
