(The North German Lloyd freighter Frankfurt was approached by HMS Cavina, but like most German ships, it was not captured, it was scuttled. A detail the Admiralty once again failed to tell the press.)

(This time the Italians were telling the truth. HMS Cachalot was sunk by the Italian destroyer Generale Achille Papa on July 30, 1941. Only one man of the crew was lost. The Admiralty would officially announce the loss on Aug. 19th.)
