Note the report in column 7: "Boehm Suicide Denies"
(A statement from Berlin broadcast on a German controlled Oslo radio stated that Admiral Boehm "was in perfect health and at his post of duty." Which of course, he was. That did not stop false reports of Admiral Hermann Boehm's death to continue to be published. There was of course no way for the press to know the truth. General Admiral Hermann Boehm, who was commander of German naval forces Norway from Apr. 1940 until Mar. 1943 and said to have committed suicide after visit from Himmler. He survived the war and died in 1972.)
