1. Kapitänleutnant Schepke versenkte 40 Feindschiffe.
(Kapitänleutnant Schepke sank 40 enemy ships.)
[The report was almost true. He had sunk 37 ships, and damaged 4 others for a total tonnage of just over 177,000 tons. He would not add another ship to his tally however, Joachim Schepke and his U-100 were sunk on Mar. 17, 1941.]
