(Keeping the "Never Doubt" clause in mind, on Aug. 30th the Germans lost 31 aircraft in combat, 4 were reported as missing and 9 were lost in non-combat incidents. The Air Ministry could not have known about the non-combat losses so they over-estimated by 7. The report also states that the R.A.F. lost only 10 aircraft. On Aug. 30, 1940 R.A.F. Fighter Command lost 17 aircraft in combat and 2 in non-combat incidents. Coastal command lost a total of 5 aircraft and Bomber Command lost 3.)

(The German claims were very exaggerated. On Aug. 30th R.A.F. Fighter Command lost 17 aircraft in combat and 2 in non-combat incidents. Coastal command lost a total of 5 aircraft and Bomber Command lost 3. The Germans also claim that they lost only lost 15 aircraft, however, on Aug. 30th the Germans lost 31 aircraft in combat, 4 were reported as missing and 9 were lost in non-combat incidents.)
