Dec. 21, 1927 the motor merchant Ponzano was launched at Harland & Wolff in Govan, Scotland for the McAndrews Line of Liverpool. She served the fruit trade until the Second World War when she was sunk by a mine on Nov. 13, 1939, fortunately no lives were lost. |
