Feb. 26, 1983 USS Carr FFG-52 was launched at Todd Pacific in Seattle, Washington. The ship is named in
honor of Gunner's Mate 3rd Class Paul H. Carr who died in USS Samuel B. Roberts DE-413 during World War
2. USS Carr is still active and in commission.
