Daily Event for December 7

In the early morning hours in the the skies over Pearl Harbor, Hawaii hundreds of Japanese aircraft appeared
and began the most infamous attack of the 20th century. When the attack was over the US Pacific Fleet was
in ruins. Over 2,300 people were killed, 1,177 of them on one ship, the USS Arizona BB-39. This was the
worst loss of life on a US Navy vessel in history. This day marks the 66th anniversary of the tragic event. Many of those who survived the attack are reminded every day by the scars carried on their bodies and in their souls.
