Les Wills from the National Arboretum has suggested that I might contact you with 'our story'. My brother and I are planning a trip to Iceland in July 2012 in order to lay a wreath in memory of our father who lost his life with so many others whilst serving on HMS Niger which was the lead escort of QP13.  We have managed to get a fishing boat owner who is prepared to take us out to the spot where the ships were hit - if the weather permits of course - and we are looking for the best way of publicising this in case there are any other families or friends who would like to join us in Bolungarvik to make the sea voyage.

We were invited to the Arctic Convoy exhibition at the Maritime Museum and had the honour of reading extracts from some of our father's letters which was an amazing experience.  We had hoped that we might come across somebody who knew of someone who had served on this convoy or better still on Niger, but that wasn't the case. I would be most grateful if you could let me know what you consider the best way of getting this 'story' out to the right people.
