Ship was in convoy UGS-38 and was attacked and bombed on Apr. 20, at 2020 hrs. Flooding was slow
and at 0630 hrs. Apr. 21 HM Tug Athlete attempted to tow the ship. Flooding continued and the tow
line was abandoned at 1002 hrs, the ship sank shortly thereafter.
