The battleship Idaho was launched December 9, 1905 at William Cramp in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was christened by thirteen year old Miss Louise M. Gooding, daughter of the governor of Idaho. She ended her days serving with the Royal Hellenic Navy as Lemnos, at the bottom of Salamis harbor in Greece, sunk by a Nazi air raid.
