Daily Event for May 19


May 19, 1904 the Huntsman was launched at Charles Connell & Co. in Glasgow. She was built for Charente Steamship Co. of Liverpool also known as T & J Harrison. She was sunk Feb. 25, 1917 by SMS U-50, and on
July 5, 1921 a new Huntsman was launched. Again built by Connell for Harrison, also sunk by a German war
machine, this time by the Admiral Graf Spee on Oct. 17, 1939.
