Daily Event for April 28


Apr. 28, 1917 the 12,000 ton Medina of the P&O Line was torpedoed and sunk off Start Point by SMS UB-31.
The ship sank in 45 minuets and everyone except the six men who died in the explosion made it off safely
and were towed to shore.
