On Nov. 9, 1940 off Librevile, France the Vichy French ship Bougainville was shelled and sunk by the Free French ship Savorgnan de Brazza. Both ships were of the same class of Aviso (a small patrol craft), and were both manned by French crews. I have no other details. |
