I was searching out information on HMCS UGANDA this evening and came across your website. On your write up on HMCS UGANDA, you have included a great photo of her but you have identified the source as being unknown. Well, I did my final research project on her Pacific Service and the reasons behind the Volunteer Vote while completing my degree at RMC in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. For your information and website updates, the photo was originally taken by the USN in November 1944 during sea trials off the coast of Charleston, South Carolina. It can now be accessed in the National Archives of Canada as Photo Number  PA 107875.
