Here are some details of the ferry Bodulka.

1952 - built in the "Velimir Skorpik (Skorpik)" shipyard in Sibenik (Sibenik) as a landing craft for the Yugoslav Navy.

1959 - the shipping company "Kvarnerska plovidba Rijeka" had bought it from the Navy, rebuilt in the Punat shipyard as the first car ferry in the Adriatic, named "Bodulka" and employed on the Crikvenica - Silo (Silo) line from April 12, 1959. The length of the seaway was cca 3,5 km, something like 2 Nm. The journey lasted cca 20 minutes. In summer she traveled four times a day in both directions, in winter twice. Another source said that there were 12 to 14 journey in summer and 8 to 10 in winter. During this first year of her service, she transferred 18.537 vehicles of all kinds (8910 cars, 864 buses, 1864 trucks, 6899 motorbikes and 400 bicycle), as well as 128.000 persons (64.000 were the passengers - pedestrians).

1963 - bought by the "Jadrolinija" shipping company.

1979 - bought by the "Jadranturist" from Rovinj, named "Rovinjka".

Dimensions: length 26.45 m, width 7.7 m, height 1.52 m.

Speed: 5 Knots.

Displacement: 87 BRT / 100 NRT.

Capacity: 12 vehicles + 140 persons.

Propulsion: 2 diesel engines Buckao Wolf, total 116 KW (from 1959). The machines were manufactured in Dieselmotorenwerke Karl Liebknecht in Rostock.

Additional information: Sunk in October 2009 due to the deterioration. In April 2010 in Pula on dry land, awaiting her fate.
