Daily Event for January 15

Possibly the last ship sunk by SMS U-93 was the SS War Song, she was lost Jan. 15, 1918 off of Breast, France.
The ship was shelled by the U-boat until she went down. I am unable to find any other details about the loss
other than seventeen men went down with her.

The U-93, if this boat actually sank the War Song was soon lost herself, she was reported as missing since
Jan. 18, 1918, but had no been heard from since Jan. 5. Her wreck has not been found to date.
